PDQ (Remote)

Content Marketing Manager (May 2023 - Present)

In this role, I’m expanding my knowledge in the IT space and writing content to help make sysadmins’ lives easier. I primarily write blog content for the PDQ and SmartDeploy websites. I also own PDQ’s social media channels (gotta keep that meme game alive somehow).

Level Effect (Remote)

Marketing Lead (May 2022 - February 2024)

I met the two co-founders of Level Effect at Huntress, and they were looking for someone to help them with their marketing efforts. One thing led to another, and thus, I spent nearly two years as their part-time Marketing Lead.

I oversaw all of Level Effect’s marketing initiatives, including the management of the brand, marketing content, and sales and lead generation efforts.

Huntress (Remote)

Content Strategist (May 2022 - May 2023)
Content Marketing Manager (April 2021 - May 2022)

My work at Huntress helped me discover a passion I didn’t even know I had: cybersecurity. It was quite the career pivot for me, and it’s just the challenge I needed to keep things interesting.

My technical writing chops definitely helped me succeed in my roles here. It’s all about learning how to translate the technical into the non-technical!

Signal Vine (Remote)

Content Marketing Manager (January 2021 - March 2021)
Senior Marketing Associate (April 2019 - December 2020)

In my roles at Signal Vine (now Modern Campus), I owned our content marketing strategy, aligning our initiatives to the higher education world and helping our customers and prospects reach their unique goals. I generated, proofread, and copyedited our content, maximizing reach through SEO efforts and social media. I also managed and mentored two communications interns.

Community Outreach Specialist (April 2017 - March 2019)

In working at the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission (the Commission) as a contractor while in college, and it turned into a full-time gig after I graduated.

In my roles at the Commission, I managed the social media accounts for the College Foundation of West Virginia, the Commission, and the West Virginia GEAR UP program.
